The Power of Clay

We believe clay has the power to transform people's lives through tactile experience, social connectivity, stress reduction, knowledge acquisition, and creative and emotional fulfillment.

Despite being more “connected” than ever, people of all ages are experiencing profound feelings of isolation. An increasing number are living with anxiety, loneliness, and mental health challenges.  We believe clay is an extraordinary artistic medium that brings people together in a welcoming environment of social connectivity, profound knowledge sharing, collaboration, and creativity.
Additionally, as art programs are curtailed in schools, more research is supporting the importance of art in child development. Please consider a tax deductible donation that will help us to expand our programming reach to those who need it the most.

"We offer the antidote to social isolation, plus a range of physical, emotional, and mental benefits both tangible and intangible..."
“The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Mental health is a critical component of overall health.”

Various workshops and community projects
The presence of Clayworx in the community is increasingly relevant and important because we bring people of all ages and backgrounds together with a remarkably tactile and ancient art form.
