Education Policies

Accommodation Policy
Clayworx is committed to make the classes accessible and inclusive for all participants. Please advise of any considerations at the time of registration so we can meet your needs.

Cancellation Policy
Clayworx reserves the right to cancel classes before they begin. We will provide as much notice as possible if cancellation is necessary.  Please review our Refund Policy (below) for more information.

Student Handbook
Please click here to review our Student Handbook. This handbook will provide necessary class information to ensure an optimal learning experience.

Gift Option
We do not currently offer Gift Certificates for classes.

Refund Policy
  • A full refund will be issued if a class/workshop is cancelled by Clayworx.
  • Missed classes/workshops are not refunded and make-up classes/workshops are not available.
Withdrawals
  • No refunds will be issued after the class/workshop begins.
  • Within 10 business days prior to a class/workshop start date, a refund will be issued minus an administrative fee.
  • A full refund is available for withdrawals occurring two weeks prior to class/workshop start.

Registration
  • Online through our website.
  • Call the Program Manager at 519.434.1664, option 1

Kiln Use
We regret that we cannot fire pottery that has been made outside of classes at Clayworx. Pottery made in a pottery class at Clayworx must be fired within the scheduled period of that class.

Cancellations due to Inclement Weather
The decision to cancel a class as a result of poor travelling conditions is one that is not taken lightly. Weather can be variable across London and outlying communities we serve. Occasionally, we will cancel due to inclement weather. To find out if Clayworx will be closed, check our website main page.

Closure decisions are made by the Program Coordinator, in consultation with the Class Instructor and Executive Director.
If there is no weather message on the homepage 2 hrs before your class start time, then the class is
not cancelled.
Information about weather, visibility, road conditions and travel safety (roads, sidewalks) is provided by police and government sources.
