Pottery Exchange

A waste reduction idea ... think before you keep it
You can recycle your creation and give a 'test' bowl a loving home
– it’s your choice!

Ceramics are some of humanity’s longest-lasting made items – some pottery is over 20,000 years old!

(this pot is not that old, it's only 800) ---->

Un-fired clay like yours can be recycled an infinite number of times.

At the next workshop, you can recycle your clay and take home one of our 'test tile' bowls.
Yours probably doesn’t look like this. Here are bowls we made for glaze colour testing – made by our Technician in x time with 10k+ hours of experience. We have to do these to test our glaze recipes, make sure they work in our kilns so you get the look we want. We don’t need them anymore so we are willing to give them away, in exchange for not creating a new pot in the world.
