LIMITED STUDIO-USER

If you have a home studio but occasionally need access to glazes, kilns, and other specialized ceramic equipment that you can’t afford or don’t have space for at home, the Limited LCAC Studio-User level is perfect for you!
We want to help you achieve your creative goals. Limited access to LCAC will give you the capacity to make and fire larger pieces, explore more making techniques, and apply a wider range of decorating styles to your work. It also gives you access to the benefits of being an LCAC Affiliate!
This level recognizes that you don’t need daily access to wheels and hand building tables to produce your work but, you sometimes need large buckets of glaze to more easily dip your ware, to roll out large slabs, or extrude cylinders for special projects you want to complete at home.

Limited Studio-Users (Price: $650 + HST in 3 equal payments Sept., Jan. May or $630 + HST in lump sum)
Up to 120 hours per year limited access to LCAC and its specialized equipment: 
  • Glaze area & glazes (requires clay purchased through LCAC only)
  • Use of glaze kitchen to purchase materials and mix glazes for home use (limited quantity)
  • Kilns (1 large front loader, 1 large top-loading oval, 3 large top-loading rounds)
  • Slab roller
  • Extruder
  • No service hours
  • 1 cubby is available for Limited Studio-Users on an as-needed basis
