Christina Tischler is one dynamic woman. She lives in Komoka with her husband and two active girls where she runs a hand-stamped jewelry business out of her home studio. Christina loves gardening too, but it’s pottery that she turns to when she wants to get out of the house and relax.
“Coming to London Clay Art Centre for me is a welcome release from the busyness of day-to-day life; an outlet where I feel no pressure, where I can express my creativity, and do what I feel like doing. Usually, I can only get into LCAC once per week, but once I get there I can relax among the other members who are always helpful and kind. It’s nice to see familiar faces and be surrounded by like-minded creative people. It provides me with some ‘me time’ and gets me out of the house.”
“We are certainly blessed to have London Clay Art Centre where hobby potters like me can come to express our creativity. We have such a warm community here. And I like that we have programs such as the Empty Bowls fundraiser, that allow me to give back to the larger community in London.”
