Clay-4-Kids Bursary Program

Clay Can Make All the Difference!

Many children and youth in the London region lack access to art experiences in their schools and neighborhoods due to budget cuts to art programming, a focus on achievement testing, and the stressors of poverty.  Support for Clay-4-Kids allows us to continue to make a positive impact on these children in our community.
You can give at-risk and under-served children and youth...
  • The opportunity for self-discovery and growth;
  • Skills to translate an idea into tangible form;
  • The chance to nurture their inner artist;
  • A supportive and stimulating environment to experience art.

The development of this bursary program is through community support and engagement. Therefore, at this time, there will be limited bursary opportunities per year available on first come first served basis.  As we raise more funds there will be greater opportunities to accommodate more students.
In 2025 our programming will focus on individual children ages 7-17, however in future years it is our goal to create spaces for small groups.  We will be very pleased to announce that development when we are able.
Currently we have two streams to apply for a bursary:  Personal (individual) inquiries for a child in your life or by referral from a child and youth organization - click the applicable button below to learn more.

Mission:  Share the Joy of Clay with as Many Kids as Possible!
The Clay-4-Kids Fundraising Campaign
Clayworx Charitable Mission is to aspire to give all people access to exceptional educational, artistic and community-building experiences with clay and ceramic art.
In addition to our regularly advertised classes, workshops, and March Break and summer camps for kids, throughout the year Clayworx also provides customized clay education sessions for community organizations and school groups in our region.  Led by our professional artist-educators, these classes, camps, and workshops provide opportunities in the tactile medium of clay to nurture imagination, encourage critical thinking,  and foster resilience and persistence in a safe and supportive environment.
Every year we receive many requests for specialized workshops or subsidized classroom and workshop rates.  All too often we aren’t able to accommodate the pricepoint that these inquiring individuals can afford.  Clay-4-Kids bursaries help remove financial barriers to help more kids, more often, gain access to our exceptional educational opportunities.
Your generous support will allow us to continue to make a positive impact on these children in our community.  To help, please consider purchasing a wonderful mug made by Clayworx studio and affiliate artists through our Cuppa Kindness Campaign starting November 8th in our retail store!
(More details about the campaign as well mug purchases through the button below will be available starting on November 12th!)
